Kentucky High-school Football, Week 10

It's a weird, mostly anti-climatic weekend in KHSAA football, as a terrific majority of the playoffs seeds have been determined and the playoffs start next week. But, of course, as GoHeath just noted, tonight does feature the game of the season in western Kentucky. Here are it and the other games this weekend that most interest me:

-- Mayfield (9-0, No. 1 in the Associated Press poll for Class A) at Caldwell County (9-0, 2A No. 1),

-- Christian County (4-5, 5A) at McCracken County (7-2, 6A No. 7),

-- Christian Academy of Louisville (9-0, 2A No. 2) at Louisville Male (8-1, 6A No. 2),

-- Paintsville Johnson Central (9-0, 4A No. 3) at Belfry (9-0, 3A No. 1),

-- Anderson County (8-1, 5A No. 3) at Shelbyville Martha Layne Collins (7-2, 4A No. 6),

-- Newport Central Catholic (5-4, 2A No. 6) at Fort Mitchell Beechwood (6-3, A No. 4) on Saturday,

-- Bowling Green South Warren (8-1, 3A No. 4) at Russellville (8-1, A No. 3)

-- Blackman (Tenn.) at Bowling Green (8-0, 5A No. 1),

-- Bowling Green Warren Central (5-4, 5A) at Fort Thomas Highlands (8-1, No. 1),

-- Louisville Seneca (2-7, 6A) at Scott County (9-0, 6A No. 1) and

-- Westwood Fairview (8-1, A No. 6) at Cincinnati James N. Gamble Montessori (Ohio).
