Oh, Kentucky

Bad jobs news from Owensboro, as well as Louisville (though the second item does include some encouraging news for C-level-exec news in McLean, Va.)

This looks like a pretty kind rejection letter, to the eventual men's basketball and golf coach at Transylvania University. The worst I ever received was from an editor at the Milwaukee Sentinel; she would've succeeded in her apparent attempt to thoroughly discourage me, but misspelling "Kentucky" undermined the credibility of her rebuke.

Trying to decide what written statement I want to submit.

There's a West Kentucky State Fair? Fifty-nine of them and counting, in fact?

There's a Florence Freedom?

Cracker Barrel vs. Zaxby's in Murray.

Idiot.

Idiot.

The Heath Post really needs to assemble a team for Paducah Summer Games 2012.

Minerva on the block.

Here's the Kentucky First Lady's summer reading list for kids.

WKU needs a new baseball coach.

I still believe anything in the 90s should be an A.
