As I said I went by the IMDB definition of musical and also used their user rating system to pick these 68 movies. There are over 28,000 titles listed as musicals at IMDB.
Just FYI this does not include movies like Once, The Fabulous Baker Boys, That Thing You Do, etc. The IMDB list did include Purple Rain, but I pulled that one out of the 68 because I felt it fit better with the movies I've listed here, maybe another bracket sometime.
So there are four brackets: A, B, C, D. The winner of A will play D and B will play C. The rankings were determined by user rating at IMDB. This time we will vote on them in blocks on 8 so that I can put up a clip for each movie as I did for the play in matches.
