Kentucky High-school Football, Class 6A Round of 32

Oh, wow. They fooled around with all the regions in Class 6A since last season. I think I knew this was going on, but I guess I forgot. And maybe the other classes have been jumbled up since last season, too, but I don't think so.

Anyway, in 6A, now we've got the good Louisville teams in Region 1 with our McCracken County Mustangs. Tonight's games are BluegrassPreps.com No. 5 Louisville duPont Manual at No. 7 McCracken County, Daviess County at No. 2 Louisville Saint Xavier, No. 3 Louisville Trinity at Henderson County and Marshall County at No. 1 Louisville Male. Male is 10-0, and the Bulldogs' victims have included Manual, St. X and Trinity. Of course, Coach Orville Jack's 9-1 Mustangs are undefeated against those teams this season, too, so we will just have to see.

The other 10-0 team in the state is No. 6 Elizabethtown Central Hardin, and now the Bruins are in Region 2 with unranked Lexington Bryan Station, No. 10 Lexington Henry Clay and No. 4 Scott County (the defending state champ).

The favorites in regions 3 and 4 appear to be either Louisville Suda E. Butler Traditional or Louisville Ballard (both unranked) and No. 8 Edgewood Dixie Heights, respectively.
