The Pirates (but not our Pirates) are on their way to Bowling Green today for the football state championships. The Belfry Middle School principal Tweeted out a picture of a sendoff his school hosted for the high-school team before they got on the long road. (Belfry won the state middle-school football title this season.)
It's high-school basketball season, too.
