Album Review: Saxobeats by Alexandra Stan

When we first got our Roku one of the first stations they had besides Netflix was Blastro. Blastro is a music video channel that mostly carries videos for music you've never heard of in the dance and hip-hop genres. Alexandra Stan seems like the perfect Blastro artist. This is a full blown dance album that isn't trying to be anything more. For what it is the album works well and the entire album could be part of a workout mix or the backdrop to a dance party.

One thing going for the album is that it has some catchy hooks and so it's easy to find yourself playing it again and I have found one song "Show Me the Way" to be quite infectious.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.

My favorite thing about Blastro is their descriptions for videos. Here is their description for the video for the single "Mr. Saxobeat."

Blastro: Alexandra is working in the world's oldest profession where she uses her sexy skills to break herself and her buddies out of jail.
