OK so here are my preseason 2025 NFL predictions. I've gone through and predicted the score for every game based on all the information I've gathered this summer and let's see how we do this year. My favorite part of this prediction is that at one point KC was in last in the West and looked like they were toast, but they came storming back to take the division. I will admit that I am buying into the Bengals plan for this season and the assumption that their defense will bounce back with new coaches. If they don't then my predictions will be way off in the AFC. I'm also thinking that Aaron Rogers will destroy the Steelers and they will fall off of a cliff. I see the Colts and the Giants also falling off a cliff this year. At the end of the year I think those three teams will be looking for new coaches. The Jets, NE, and Chicago will be happy with how competitive their teams were despite their records. Cleveland will continue being Cleveland and either fire their coach or not. One of the big off season topics will be what should Carolina do. Most everyone will believe that this is as good as Bryce Young can be and so there will be questions as to whether they should try and find someone better since the coaching staff seems to be legit. Football people will say NO is a disaster, but they will point to the fact that they never really had a chance with their QB situation. The Raiders came close but couldn't break through in the end and this will be the best we see from Pete Carroll and Geno Smith. The Rams' Stafford era will be at the end and people will be questioning what the Cardinals should do since they seem peaked out by both their coaching staff and their QB.

ReplyDeleteAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH! I don't know if I could handle a 10-win season with no playoffs. It seems like the Dolphins have had about four of those over the course of my life, and they are brutal!
ReplyDeleteEveryone is saying the Dolphins may have one of the worst defenses in the NFL this year, so I'm taking a gamble that they will get a great year on offense, but after watching what happened to the Bengals last year it's hard to have a lot of faith.
ReplyDeleteThe Dolphins and my second-favorite team, the Bears, played to a 24-24 exhibition tie Sunday afternoon while we helped our daughter move back in at Western, and I enjoyed getting to check in on the NFL-app play-by-play in the breaks. Jason Sanders had a terrific afternoon, as did I.
ReplyDelete#Breaking: The Miami Dolphins just came from behind to beat the Detroit Lions, 24-17, to improve to 1-0-1 in the preseason, and I am delighted. Directed by rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers, Miami dominated the fourth quarter in Detroit, scoring 10 points and maintaining possession for 11 minutes over two long drives. Rookie cornerback Ethan Robinson intercepted with 22 seconds to play to end the Lions' threat to tie, capping a week in which I admit I have been gettin' down and out about the liars and the dirty, dirty cheats of the world who have been saying the Dolphins are headed for a poor season. Now I just signed up for the Red Zone and live audio for the season, and NFL.com just told me, "Touchdown! Your purchase has been successfully completed!"
