I decided that last year, I made the mistake of knowing too much about what happened in the regular season. I knew that the Dodgers were far and away the two best teams in the National League, so when they were knocked out before the NLCS, I lost interest in the playoffs.
This year, I'm going into the playoffs cold. I won't know anything about any of the teams, and I'll learn as I go. That way it will be more dramatic.
This is an excellent strategy. I plan to root for the A's.
