  5. Southern Miss has these uniforms that would have been really good for Heath. They have a black cap with yellow letters, a yellow shirt with black numerals, and white pants with black pinstripes. They look great.

  15. This whole season has been a big party in Fayetteville. Arkansas has been number one in the country for months. The Razorbacks won every series they placed in the SEC. They won the SEC Tournament. They are the number one seed in the NCAA's. But they lost to Nebraska last night, and the Cornhuskers have taken a 1-0 lead in the 2d inning today.

  17. Nebraska has broken out the black shirts for this game. And the bats. The Huskers lead 2-0 after 1 1/2 innings. They will be getting nervous in Fayetteville.

  18. I worried that Nebraska might be an unfair draw for a team as good as Arkansas. The Huskers went 31-12 this year, but all of their games were played against Big 10 opponents. So no one really knows how good they are.

  19. Only three Big 10 teams got into the tournament, and the other two -- Michigan and Maryland -- have already been eliminated. But Michigan went all the way to the final in 2019. So you never know what you're going to get with the Big 10.

  26. With two outs in the bottom of the 8th, Nebraska's pitcher walked back-to-back batters, and went to 2-0 on the next batter. So Nebraska changed pitchers. Here's what happened:

    Walk to load the bases.
Wild pitch to make the score 3-2 for Arkansas.
    THREE-RUN HOMER by a pinch-hitter.

Arkansas leads 6-2 and is three outs from Super Regionals.

  27. Arkansas wins 6-2 and will host North Carolina State in the Supers. Great performance by Arkansas ace Kevin Kopps, who entered in the third inning and allowed only three hits and no runs in seven innings. Eight strikeouts. Zero walks. Great job.
