They had a series down in Nashville this weekend between Vandy and South Carolina. Vandy won the first game 3-2 behind 14 strikeouts from Kumar Rocker. Then Vandy won the next game 5-0 behind 16 strikeouts -- and a NO HITTER -- from Jack Leiter. And on Sunday, Vandy jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead after three, but the Gamecocks kept pecking away and pulled it out with two runs in the top of the eighth for a 6-5 victory.
Based on Vandy's taking the series, the Dores move up to number 1 in the D1Baseball rankings:

The Number-1 Dores take down Lipscomb 11-3, and run their record to 16-3 overall.
