Kentucky High School Boys' Basketball, 27 Teams Left

Here are the 27 teams that could still win the 2017 Kentucky High School Athletic Association boys' basketball championship:


Five regional championships were contested Monday night.

— Seventh Region at Louisville Valley High School: Louisville Ballard Bruins 60, Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions 37

— Ninth Region at BB&T Arena in Newport: Union Cooper Jaguars 51, Covington Catholic Colonels 38

— 11th Region at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond: Scott County Cardinals 56, Lexington Catholic Knights 44

— 13th Region at Corbin Arena: Harlan County Black Bears 67, Corbin Redhounds 65

— 15th Region at East Kentucky Expo Center in Pikeville: Pikeville Panthers 95, Paintsville Johnson Central Golden Eagles 84

Eleven more are on tap for this evening. We will miss Go Heath on the mike.
