Album Review: Themes for Dying Earth by Teen Daze

Allmusic refers to Teen Daze's music as atmospheric and that seems like a good term, especially for this album. Teen Daze is the brainchild of producer Jamison and on this album he brings in some guests.

This album flows along from song to song all feeling very connected. There are some very good moments on this album, like the song "Cycle" but there is also a lot of instrumental spaces that can almost fade into the background. This makes the album perfect for cleaning the house on a rainy day. When the sun finally pops out from the clouds and starts shining through the windows while the opening to "Anew" is playing it will feel just perfect.

I could see me coming back to this album again as the year goes along for playing in the background as my family lives out our lives, but I can't really see going to it to listen to. Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
