Album Review: Fifteen by Green River Ordinance

OK so these guys have been together for 15 years, thus the name of the album. I must admit they are new to me. They are a pop/country band and this is a pop/country album. I like albums that are what they set out to be. This album has no bad songs, no bad moments. It is exactly what you would want it to be. There are sad moments, fun moments, happy moments, all behind good hooks and a solid, consistent, sound. Some artists are just very good at creating solid pop music and just hearing this one album and knowing these guys have been around for 15 years that's where I would put them.

That being said, though I enjoy the album when it's on, I don't find myself looking for it or thinking about it.  A good album to clean the house to, to have a family reunion to, but not one that you're going to be pulling out in five years because you've just got to hear it.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
