The main thing you need to understand is that the relatively soft weather conditions on Friday morning -- and the brutal conditions on Friday afternoon -- effectively eliminated everyone who was scheduled to play Friday afternoon, including Jordan Spieth, Jason Day, and Rory McIlroy. So we are left with these players, almost all of whom finished their second rounds before the weather got too bad:
