Just watching the video you get the idea of this band. They are a garage band out of Spain that seems to be enjoying what a young rock and roll life is all about. This is all well and good and the album is OK, but it does feel more like a fun project than a serious endeavor. In fact it reminds me a lot of this video and song from the Marine Girls back in the early 80's.
Tracey Thorn would leave the Marine Girls after a few years and go on to more serious work both on her own and with Everything But the Girl, and my guess would be that at some point Hinds will fall the same fate, but who knows.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give the album 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
