MLB Playoffs: Day 9

This season, the Toronto Blue Jays scored 891 runs -- 127 more than any other team in the American League.  But last night, in Game One of the American League Championship Series, the Blue Jays scored zero runs, and they were beaten 5-0 by the Kansas City Royals.  Much of the credit for Kansas City's belongs to Edinson Volquez, who held the Jays to only two hits through the first six innings of the game.  The Royals' superlative bullpen did the rest, and K.C. has a one-zip lead in the series.

National League Championship Series:
New York and Chicago are tied 0-0

American League Championship Series:
Kansas City leads Toronto 1-0
