Album Reviews: This Is Not a Pop Album by My Neighbour Is

Greg Kobe is a Manchester based artist who puts out music under a couple of names. One is My Neighbour Is. My Neighbour Is puts out these musical numbers that are short and as he describes it funk / reggae. The truth is it's kind of like putting on smooth jazz music, but instead of getting smooth jazz you get funky, reggae inspired music. So if you are the type of person who likes to put on smooth jazz as background music, but on occasion want something with a bit more beat then this might be a good way to go. Excellent for instance for cleaning up an office that is also a shed in your backyard.

Besides acting as backdrop to your life there isn't a lot more for this music, but for being a backdrop it is not bad. Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
