This Week in Western Kentucky

Here are the scores from Friday night in Western Kentucky (home teams listed first).  My game in Russellville turned out not to be all that entertaining.  I should have gone to Madisonville to watch Hopkins County Central.  The Storm picked up their second win of the year.  That may not sound like a big deal to you, but when this season began, Hopkins County Central had lost 37 consecutive football games in a row.  They had not won since a 20-14 victory over Muhlenberg County on September 23, 2011.  But on August 21, 2015, the Storm beat Webster County 22-14.  And now they are 2-4 after edging Logan County.  Good for the Storm!
