Oh, Kentucky

They're building a Rural King across from my old house on Cairo Road in Paducah!

Etown's getting a Meijer.

And Nelson County is adding its sixth Dollar General.

Russellville says its rolling out Kentucky's first 1 Gigabit-per-second fiber-to-the-premises service. Not so fast, however, in Columbia and northern Kentucky.

Good jobs news from Springfield, Elkton and (if you're willing to move to western Kentucky or West Virginia) Hazard. Bad from Erlanger (unless you're willing to move to Michigan).

The Kentucky New Era is out of the debate-sponsoring business because one of the local mayoral hopefuls (the dude with the 11-point proposal to make Hoptown safer, happier and healthier) is in its employ.

More "heartbreak" in West Liberty.

"This could only happen in Hazard, Ky."

"That should send a chill through every local school board in the state."

"Nazareans" in Richmond.
