College Baseball Update

In Jackson, Tenn., Jacksonville State swept a double-header from Tennessee Tech by scores of 10-7 and 4-2 to take the OVC Title.

In Wilmington, N.C., College of Charleston beat William & Mary 6-4 to win the CAA title.  C of C went through the tournament without losing a single game.

In Clearwater, Fla., Houston beat Louisville 10-4 to win the American Athletic title.  The Cardinals will still get to host a regional tournament in the NCAA's this week, and in a few months they will be off to the ACC.

In Hoover, Ala., LSU pounded Arkansas 11-1 in only 8 innings to win one semi-final, while Florida pulled out a 6-5 thriller over UK to win the other semi-final.  The Cats are still going to the NCAA's, however -- in fact they will be the number 2 seed in Louisville's region.  LSU then shut out Florida 2-0 to win the SEC tournament.

Today the NCAA announces the complete draw for its baseball tournament, which will start on Friday.
