Oh, Kentucky

Time to start planning that summer vacation.

Good jobs news from Elkton, Owensboro, Russell Springs, Henderson and Morganfield. Unemployment statewide? Up from 2012 to 2013 in 57 counties, down in 51, same in 12.

Toward Appalachian Innovation.

Paducah's Spring Tradition.

Purchase Parkway widening and new Lake Barkley bridging are among the state's road projects in the works.

Farley Elementary School, near Woodlawn-Oakdale (and not far from the (really) old Wal-mart site), is closing.

A richer John James Audubon experience is coming.
