College Baseball Update

After last weekend's games, the Vanderbilt Commodores had won 14 games in a row -- but they still can't pass the North Carolina Tar Heels, who have won nine in a row.  Meanwhile, Kentucky continues to struggle.  Over the weekend, the Wildcats dropped two out of three -- at home -- to a mediocre squad from Tennessee.  And then, on Tuesday, the Cats were pasted in Lexington 12-5 by U of L.  Life doesn't get any easier for the Cats, as they head off on a seven-game road trip -- three games in South Carolina, one game at Western Kentucky, and then three games in Ole Miss.  Given how the Cats have been playing, this could be their last appearance in Baseball America's top 25 for awhile:
