AP NFL Poll: Week 11

We don't have any more undefeated teams, and the Texans have moved back into the top spot after their big win over Chicago.  Here is the top 10 from the AP's NFL Poll:

1.  Houston Texans:  8-1
2.  Atlanta Falcons:  8-1
3.  Chicago Bears:  7-2
4.  San Francisco 49ers:  6-2-1
5.  Denver Broncos:  6-3
6.  Green Bay Packers:  6-3
7.  Baltimore Ravens:  7-2
8.  New England Patriots:  6-3
9.  Pittsburgh Steelers:  6-3
10.  New York Giants:  6-4

The Dolphins (4-5) drop from 15 to 20; the Redskins (3-6) go from 23d to 22d.  I would be stunned if there are really 10 NFL teams worse than the Redskins.

This week, the Bears are in another top-5 game, as they travel to San Francisco for a Monday nighter with the 49ers.  The Sunday night game is also loaded, as it features the number 7 Ravens and the number 9 Steelers.  So that's two really good games to watch -- and I'm not even counting the Colts/Patriots match-up (which is late Sunday afternoon).  On the whole, I think this may be the best NFL week of the year so far.  MORE LIFE!  MORE FOOTBALL!

  1. I'm going to start avoiding all NFL talk (unless it's Tony Kornheiser's radio show), and I'm going to start muting all NFL broacasts (unless it's Al Michaels/Cris Collinsworth-Bob Costas).
