Given the resiliency that the San Francisco Giants have shown in recent years, it is not surprising that they struck back in game 2 of their series with the Cardinals. In fact, they hammered St. Louis 7-1 to even the series at one game apiece. This is the first time since 1958 that the two most recent World Champions have met in the post-season, and so far the teams appear to be pretty evenly matched:
