Oh, Kentucky

Productivity is flagging in Cadiz as the new work week kicks off. So far this morning, WHVO 1480 AM has played "Touch Me in the Morning" by Diana Ross and "Lazy Day" by Spanky and Our Gang.

The Government Cheese are reconvening in support of the family of the late bass player of the Toxic Shocks, "a power house rock band in the late 80s."

Rest in peace, Mr. Wilson, western Kentucky radio pioneer.

Also: "Goober," a Logan County Tobacco and Heritage Festival veteran.

Good jobs news from Louisville.

"Adam Sulfridge is now a college graduate, unemployed in Whitley County, Kentucky."

Harlan is getting a new bowling alley.

The KHS rolls on to Georgetown.

Patching together Civil War-era quilt history.

Smith's, too.

"If you ever wanted a glimpse into the Castle on the Cumberland (Kentucky State Penitentiary), now is your opportunity."

Super-moon!
