Far too much to process for me to write anything about this tonight. I will post something on this game tomorrow night. In the meantime, LET'S ALL CELEBRATE!!!

  1. "@uknum1," by the way, is Darius Miller, my main man of Maysville.

  2. Calipari is now on Mike and Mike saying that his next goal is to have a team that goes 40-0.

    HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE!

  3. This is the closest UK has been to UCLA in the national championship race since 1971.

  4. This morning, Tony Kornheiser is saying that it's a shame UK didn't play UNC. I could swear I saw those two teams play each other this year.

    1. After they played he was on the radio saying he really wanted that to be the championship game. He thought they matched up so well with each other it was a game he wanted to see again.

    2. He could always watch the tape of the first game.

Or he could watch the tape from the 2011 NCAA game, when they had the same basic team and we had Jones, Lamb, and Miller.

  5. By the way, last night on ESPN they had a segment showing all of the previous UK coaches who won the national championship: Rupp, Hall, Pitino, and Tubby Smith.

When they got to Hall, they put up a picture of Eddie Sutton.

    1. John Herndon of The Anderson News and Rex Chapman noted this with dismay overnight.

    2. I am confident that was an inside joke by the folks at ESPN. They showed it several times. And there's no way that so many people at ESPN can't tell the difference between Joe Hall and Eddie Sutton.

  6. By the way, the SEC now holds the NCAA championship in football, men's basketball, and baseball. I don't remember that ever happening before.

The Alabama football fans, by the way, are the only fans on earth who actually like and respect the Kentucky basketball fans.
