Oh, Kentucky

Neat idea.

Hear, hear. The C-J editorial board and I are on the same page this week.

After his hiatus for retooling, I hope Rick Pitino comes back to TV with a variety show that features basketball-oriented comedy sketches and musical numbers by entertainers from around Kentucky.

Georgia Green Stamper is another happy discovery for me: "By the time we crossed the Tennessee border, I was mentally drawing a hot bath in my big tub."

Good jobs news from Elizabethtown, promising news from manufacturers around Kentucky.

Support your local newspaper: "For 75 cents each week — or in this case, free — you’re getting a whole lot of stuff here. And your mailman can bring it to you each and every week if you’d like."

This reminds me of that one Howard Sprague episode.

An overview of the Owensboro area's gridiron greats.

Maybe before Game 6 the Phillies should call up Woodie Fryman.
