Now I'm worried about going to penalty kicks. I hate penalty kicks. In the old days, tied matches in knockout tournaments were re-played -- they still do this in some rounds of the F.A. Cup. And that is a much better system -- in large part because it eliminates any incentive for either team to play for a tie.
