Kentucky minute

I encourage all readers of The Heath Post to immediately get yourselves in front of CMT for the Sissy Spacek/Tommie Lee Jones victory-lap finale (forthcoming momentarily!) of the greatest Kentucky movie ever, Coal Miner's Daughter.

    "harlan county usa" is an outstanding documentary, and it's very much about kentucky.

    i've never seen "girls' hoops," "rebound: a basketball story," "in country" or "young mr. lincoln" but plan to some day soon.

    "sheba, baby," "our hospitality," "judge priest" "the dollmaker," "dixie," "ten gentlemen from west point" and "band of angels" sound interesting, as does "next of kin" (if for no other reason that i've honestly often dreamed of being a truck driver for a vending-machine company).
