ReplyDeleteAt the half, Tilghman leads Allen County-Scottsville 42 to 0.
ReplyDeleteWith 7:41 left in the 3d quarter in West Paducah, Murray leads McCracken County 24 to 21.
ReplyDeleteBefore a huge crowd of 18,000 people in Louisville, Trinity is pounding St. X 42-10 with 3:28 left in the third quarter. I once attended a Trinity/St. X game, and I recommend it to all fans of Kentucky high school football.
ReplyDeleteWith 11:30 left in the 4th quarter, Marshall County leads Muhlenberg County 36-7. Adam Wells tweets that the Marshals are about to pick up their first district win since October 2016, which was basically a different era of history.
ReplyDeleteGraves County won at Madisonville-North Hopkins, 20-14, in a final score that I doublechecked at a second site to make sure it was accurate. I saw the end of the first half and a bit of the second, and I thought the game was headed to a three- or four-touchdown win for the Eagles.
ReplyDeleteMurray ended up winning by 38-35 at McCracken County. So I'm actually pretty impressed with how these rankings held up. Both Murray and Graves County won at teams who were rated higher than them, but the finals were pretty close, and MaxPreps had all four teams in a pretty tight ratings clump.
Also, Mayfield won at Henderson County, 38-24.
