Stunning scenes at Anfield, where Liverpool has staggered Barcelona, beating Barca 4-0 in the second leg of their semi-final match. Since Barcelona won the first led 3-0, that means that Liverpool win with an aggregate score of 4 to 3. Liverpool will advance to the Champions League final.
Liverpool will face the winner of the semi-final between Tottenham Hotspur (England) and Ajax (Netherlands). In the first leg of that match -- in England -- Ajax won 1-0. The second leg will be played in Amsterdam tomorrow.
This will be the first time since the 2012-13 season that the Champions of Europe will not come from Spain. Real Madrid has won four of the last five titles, with Barcelona winning the fifth.
