Oh, Kentucky

Good jobs news from Glasgow. Bad from Fulton.

Mrs. Jerry Bruckheimer clarifies her position on AT&T's cell-tower plans in Bloomfield.

The bicentennial celebration in Williamsburg is officially over, but the mayor hopes "the pride will continue to swell."

It turns out John Ed Pearce was out running around Ky. 80 about the same time I was.

Rest in peace, Jeanne Penn Lane, Boyle County art-education pioneer, Nashville Top 40 songwriter and namesake of the Jeanne Penn Lane Celebration of Kentucky Writers (June 23 at the Boyle County Public Library).

  1. The story out of Bloomfield is interesting but it seems like a direct response to something and I feel I'm missing that something.
