I found this to be a very compelling album. Sharon Van Etten has a good voice and lyrically she's interesting. I personally found the first half of the album much stronger than the second half and so it feels a bit long. If you like singer-songwriter albums and you're looking for a modern touch on the genre then I would say give this a listen.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
Not very Christmasy ... but, yes, that is a very excellent song. I love the drums.
