His Christmas album that came out last November, I'm just now getting around to listening to it. It's fun to start thinking about Christmas and I liked the opening two tracks, but then it went quickly downhill. Too much effort is spent trying to flex his voice rather than actually sing the songs, and so you're left feeling that he has a good voice, but you wonder at his ability to actually sing. I could see adding either "Only Thing I Ever Get For Christmas" or "Mistletoe" to a Christmas mix tape, but the rest of the album is throw away.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
Is he singing, "Shawty, with you?"
