Oh, Kentucky

We were close to having an all-commonwealth NAIA Division I men's basketball championship matchup, but, as the Twitter feed documents, Georgetown fell short. This will keep The Heath Post Kentucky Bureau from figuratively donning a John Y. Brownish Pikeville-orange-on-one-side/Georgetown-orange-on-the-other blazer for tonight's 9 Central tilt. Go, Pikeville Bears!

Meanwhile, the NCAA Division II men's tournament provides us the opportunity to discover Silver Grove School.

If you're looking for a belated birthday gift for Darius Miller, this biography of another Maysville native might be an appropriate choice.

Good jobs news from Frankfort: "We love your beautiful Commonwealth with its great location, business climate, business networking opportunities, quality of life and last, but certainly not least, the very hospitable and talented residents." (Henderson, too.)

Girls, well done.

HPK/10* is checking just how hot is the iron. (Meanwhile, here's a story that HPKBK/10* wants you to read.)

How about "Haven Gillespie Highway" for old Ky. 17?
