Best of the 70's: Bitches Brew by Miles Davis

Bitches BrewThe greatest jazz musician, Miles Davis, made his final breakthrough in 1970 with the release of Bitches Brew where he fused rock and jazz into one.  Currently at number 72 on the Best of the 70's list, this album is a must have for anyone who is a collector of jazz greats and rock greats.

As I've talked about some music lives on this list because of its influence others because of its music.  If you love jazz-rock fusion, then you'll love this album, if not, well then it probably isn't for you.  That being said its influence on what would happen to rock and jazz afterward are immeasurable.

Me personally I'm not a huge jazz-rock fan, at least when it comes to free jazz interpretations.  Still I can see throwing this album on for background music when I'm working or reading.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
