Oh, Kentucky

The Center for Science in the Public Interest says Kentucky is in the South.

Now that the big-bird-watching money from Baltimore is going to be rolling in, I'm guessing that the Kentucky State Parks' fiscal worries are over.

Homelessness staggers me. Some of the things that I find mind-blowing in various ways about homelessness are that homeless people apparently move a good bit among cities, that apparently one of the biggest common denominators in stories leading to homelessness is inability to cope with somebody's death, and--most of all--that, man, you don't want to be a homeless woman.

In Pineville, it's in to the new and out of the old.

And, from Morganfield, it's on to state.
