Kentucky has dominated the first decade of national chambers-of-commerce competition.

Steve Preston of NKU in the NKyTribune: "On March 1, 1886, Henry Boyd passed away at the age of 83. Despite his success and prominence within the community, Boyd was laid to rest in an unmarked grave in Spring Grove Cemetery."

"'I was scared to come to rural area like Edmonson County,' said Patel. 'All I know was the big cities, but now, I would never go back to the big city. This community is a good example of how the country (rural) is good.'" The best part of this Darren Doyle feature in The Edmonson Voice are the comments about it on the newspaper's Facebook page (no, seriously).
