Paducah to Hopkinsville (176KM, 1015M of elevation, 2 Cat 5 climbs)
Should be another day for the sprinters. So far this race is nothing but sprint finishes, which could start to get old by day 5 of racing for viewers. But it will be awhile before we get into big enough hills to make a real difference. This Tour is looking like the kind of race that could lend itself to a none climber, more of a classics rider to win. They could win some sprint stages potentially here in the early times and then hold up in the mountains maybe later on. Should be fun to see how this plays out.
If you look at the Tour of Italy right now so far this race would have been dominated by the likes of Arnaud Demare, Mark Cavendish, Mathieu Van Der Poel, and Biniam Girmay.
