Owensboro to Madisonville (202KM, 1120M of elevation, 2 Cat 5 climbs)
Heading to Madisonville. This is a classic KY stage with no real flat areas but no real climbs either. Running a grand tour in KY would prove to be very interesting for teams. I'm not sure how you would construct your team. The stages line up more like one day races than the normal stages you see in a grand tour. Of course if you were building this out from the ground with people who understood the areas well, you could pick out routes that would create difficulties near the end of the stage or simply level it out to make for a nice sprint day.
