Oh, Kentucky

Happy 29th tomorrow, Kevin Olusola, Owensboro-born "celloboxing" pioneer:

It's ham season in Trigg County.

Sue Grafton's Y Is For Yesterday and other new titles at the Nelson County Public Library.

Elkton is seeking a curbside leaf collector; the Daniel Boone Community Action Agency in Manchester, a transit driver.

Good jobs news from Barren County.

Gov. Bevin told WKYX that he thinks NCAA student-athletes should be paid.

"When we eat a meal together, good things happen in your family and those around you."

  1. Interesting comment from Bevin. Currently the University of Kentucky receives $0 of state money to run their athletics programs. If you were to pay athletes, I wonder what kind of impact that would have.
