  2. What is wrong with my energy level in this episode? It's like I'm on drugs, and I'm actually not.

  3. I knew nothing about Sue Grafton. Wikipedia (superWikipedia!) tells me that she is the Louisville-native granddaughter of Presbyterian ministers on both sides of her family. I lived in the Presbyterian seminary for a summer while I was on summer break from WKU, and I feel certain I've seen one or more of the TV movies she would've written. So it turns out I've been walking Sue Grafton's path all of these years and didn't even know it.

  5. Man, listen to that bird go! I think my cat was out there, probably sniffing around its nest.

  6. Breaking ... I plan to actually start HP coverage of the new 1971 TV season TONIGHT!

    TONIGHT!

  7. OK, seriously, we need to do a full episode on your family's trip to Washington. That's what the podcast should be--like This American Life but only our American lives.

  8. Nice ... good job finding the Hill Street theme. Excellent choice.
