  1. Indeed, WNBStubblefield is on the air with Game 2 of the state tournament. It's the third quarter, and Nelson County just completed a three-point play to pull within 46-14 of Murray [sic].

  2. Well, I feel like an idiot. BB&T Arena is on the campus of Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights. I knew NKU played there, but I thought it was a separate property in Newport. The Kentucky desk regrets the error.

  3. "Our concession stands offer traditional arena fare such as hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, nachos, assorted Pepsi products and a variety of beers featuring Anheuser-Busch products," and pretend me probably has had a hot dog, some popcorn and maybe a Crystal Pepsi this afternoon. But supper at the pretend HP Luxury Suite is a far fancier affair, with the Above the Rim Package from Northern Class Catering:

    -- Bottomless Popcorn
    -- Salsa Sampler
    -- Cheese Platter
    -- Market Fresh Fruit
    -- Deconstructed Steakhouse Salad
    -- Homemade Macaroni and Cheese
    -- Pulled Pork Sliders
    -- Gourmet Cookies and Brownies

I imagine we have all the former HP Kentuckian of the Year winners there and some of our other frequent guest stars--Ashley Monroe, some mucky mucks from King William's College on the Isle of Man, Viswanathan Anand, Alberto Contador, Mel Renfro, etc.
