Oh, Kentucky

The armadillos have reached Pulaski County.

An unidentifed good Samaritan and the Krypton Fire Department saved the Yerkes U.S. Post Office from catastrophe; the Avawam Post Office is helping out until Yerkes is back up and running, and the Perry County Sheriff's Department, Kentucky State Police, WYMT, YouTube and The Hazard Herald are working together to help track down a suspected arsonist. YEAH!!!

This week in Lebanon:

Looking back at Golden Pond.

Good jobs news from Henderson.

Christmas parades: Owensboro, Nov. 19; Glasgow, Dec. 3, and Pikeville, Dec. 10.

Rest in peace, Joe Bailey of Williamsburg, "an educator, an outdoorsman, musician, businessman, but mostly a great human," per Corbin’s Times-Tribune.
