Album Review: Not to Disappear by Daughter

Some music is made for the summer, some for the spring, some for the fall and some for the winter. Some music is made to be listened to through headphones while you walk through a cold, dark, rain. That would fit this album. Their sound feels like a marriage between Portishead and The Cure.

When I first started listening to this album it seemed like I should have liked it more than I did.  Then today we had a cold and rainy day and so I threw it on and went for a walk. That's where this album is at home.

Definitely have to be in the right mood to really fall into this album, but it's a good sophomore effort. Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
