Per the Hazard Herald, an attorney who is prosecuting a case against the U.S. Social Security Administration in Prestonsburg, having to do with about 900 instances of suspended disability payments, "shared later that in speaking with a detective with the Kentucky State Police, who wished to remain anonymous, the KSP is investigating other possible suicides that may be linked to lost disability benefits cases."
