Sun Belt Basketball Update

Western Kentucky is still in the Sun Belt Conference, and we are all waiting to see if HarperMania can once again strike the Sun Belt Tournament.  In the meantime, the Hilltoppers have decent chance to finish on top of the league, especially since they picked up a huge road win on Thursday -- a 58-56 win at South Alabama.  Since MTSU has left the Sun Belt, we no longer have divisions, which I regard as a big improvement:

Once again, the numbers next to each team are the Ken Pom rankings:

118.  Georgia St:  1-0, 8-6
146.  Arkansas St:  1-0, 8-4
148.  W. Kentucky:  1-0, 9-5
242.  Ark.-Little Rock:  1-0, 6-7
95.  La-Lafayette:  0-0, 9-4
226.  La-Monroe:  0-0, 3-5
173.  S. Alabama:  0-1, 6-8
211.  Tex-Arlington:  0-1, 5-8
288.  Texas St:  0-1, 4-10
290.  Troy:  0-1, 5-8

  1. WKU just got active a guard who transferred from Butler. He starred in the win over USA.
