Murray State has been on fire in conference play, in large part because they are playing very good defense, and in part because they are in the weaker West Division. EKU played a very odd game at Belmont last week -- falling behind 64-42 with 10 minutes to go, and then putting up 39 points in the last 10 minutes before losing 84-81. Morehead also lost at Belmont last week, but their loss was a more conventional 80-66 defeat. Belmont and Murray will meet only once in the regular season -- at Belmont on February 6.
