Oh, Kentucky

Opinion parade:

-- The Hazard Herald: "There is a lot of work to do in the Perry County School District."

-- The Courier-Journal in Louisville: "Discrimination is not a trait that should be tolerated in an organization that seeks to train boys to be 'morally straight.'"

-- The Kentucky Standard in Bardstown: "... (T)hat is what this case demands — justice. Justice for the community. Justice for the little league players who lost their coach. Justice for the two little boys who went to bed Friday night expecting to see their father the next morning. Justice for a grieving widow."

Half-staff Thursday.

Good jobs news from Erlanger and Henderson. Jobs news from Paducah.

The gov is headed to Wickliffe.

  1. Oh, man ... they're playing "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" in the church. What a great hymn we have in that one.

    1. I love that song.

O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
      Everything to God in prayer.
