Album Review: The Next Day by David Bowie

When I was plowing through all those best of the 70's albums I got exposed to a lot of David Bowie. For me he was very hit or miss. This album is a hit. The energy level is high, the hooks are all over the place, and he's having fun tapping into his own past and all the music that he has helped influence over the years. The more I listened to all that old Bowie the more I was impressed with just how influential he was. Hearing this album is a reminder of what a talent he is.

Eric, this album is not for cleaning the house but actually for listening to with some thought. Good for long walks at night for instance.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 3 out of 5 stars for Pretty Good.

  1. Good for Long Walks at Night could be the companion collection to the Music To Clean House To mix.
